Meet Our Board Members
Bob MacDonald
President
​
Bob is a retired aerospace executive that grew up in Montreal receiving an MBA from Montreal's Concordia University.
Living in Rouses Point since 2006 and joining North Country Golf Club in 2007 , I was pleased to join the board in 2018 becoming club president in 2019.
Tim Parker
Vice President
​
Tim grew up in Cape Vincent NY going to school there through 7th grade and then went to Gouverneur High School graduating in 1974.
Moved to Chazy in 1993
I joined the golf club originally in 1995 and have been on the board for 4 years being voted in 11/2017.
Jan Letourneau
Secretary
​
Jan has been a member for 21 years. She joined the club originally as a way to socialize and meet other women in the community. "Even though its not my best sport, playing golf offers me a way to tap into my competitive nature in a fun and friendly environment."

Clark Foster
Treasurer
Clark joined the club in Fall 2012, taking advantage of the Fall membership offer that year.
"I like the challenge golf presents - every time. Lowering my golf scores is not easy for this retired
accountant! I’ve also enjoyed getting to know many of my fellow members over the years - golfing with
them, enjoying a cocktail after a round, cringing to their bad jokes or volunteering with them to improve
our course. Basically, it’s an all-around fun experience!"

Josie Gilroy

Josie has been a member of the North Country Golf Club for 35+ years. I played a handful of times with my father and brothers when I was in high school, back when it was only 9 holes. I have enjoyed playing the
course, watching it grow and improve over the years. At the urging of two teacher friends, I eventually
joined the Tuesday morning Ladies League for fun, to meet people and to satisfy my competitive spirit.
The golf course personnel are friendly, as are the members. I love to play early in the morning and I’m
allowed to do so without interfering with the groundskeepers. They always smile and give a wave and I
often stop for a quick conversation with them.
